Success Story

“Great job, Mr. Crone!”

Mr. Crone presented to St George Healthcare following a hospitalization after he underwent a leg amputation. He experienced an overall decline in mobility and performing self-care tasks, rendering him unable to return home.

He participated in 6 weeks of physical and occupational therapy while fitting for a prosthetic, in order to increase his independence for returning home. As he began showing progress, he became more and more determined to get back home and return to his normal routine. We were able to fit him with a prosthetic and train him on handling and mobility.

Mr. Crone was discharged from therapy after his many hurdles and was able to return home with support. Upon discharge, he required intermittent supervision and is expected to flourish with his home health.
